Video of the Week: "Secrets to Measuring a Piece of Paper"

This week's video is a perfect test for our students ability to use precision.

Here's what I'm wondering:

  • Would I pass any of the parts of this test?
  • What would my students do?
  • Is it good or bad that we assume that people, probably especially teachers, aren't out to trick us?
  • What do you think about Cliff Stoll's view of homework?
  • Do you have the need to know Stoll speaks of? How do you see that play out?
